With the massive growth of digital photography a lot of people are looking to learn a bit about what goes into making a good digital picture - this is a good place to visit.It's tucked away around the back of photographic giant Canon's website. It's easy to miss and once you are there you have to pick your way through a lot of Canon-orientated sales guff. If you are a Canon user this is great, if you aren't, you don't have to read it.
It's an archive of the pieces that have appeared in Canon's customer magazine. There are three sections: Feature, Product and Technical and each is full of little gems like the one on how to convert your colour pictures into black and white, or a feature on colour temperature or underwater photography. A lot of these features appear as PDF files and can be downloaded on to your PC where you can read them at your own leisure.
